ZigBee SE based SCR / SCR+ communication module for Elster gas meter
The ZigBee SE based SCR / SCR+ communication module for Elster gas meter is a battery driven module. It registers gas meter readings at preselected time intervals and sends automatically the data to the data concentrator (ZigBee ESP). Between the gas meter readings, the module is put to sleep thereby increasing the battery life time.
The ZigBee SE Metering device can configure the logging intervals for each meter, ranging from 1 hour to 24 months. In addition to the meter data, it is possible to read out the gas meter type and serial number.
