To meet this demand, Develco Products is now launching the Electricity Meter Interface 2, LED – a device that serves as an interface for your customers’ electricity meter at home.

Help your customers lower their electricity consumption

Connected to an electricity meter, the Electricity Meter Interface 2, LED collects readings and information from the meter and sends the data to consumers who can then follow their consumption in real-time on their mobile phone or another device.

All data can be collected by a Zigbee-based gateway, such as the Squid.link gateway, and stored in a normal data flash. The Zigbee communication ensures high security in order to protect data and prevent hacking.

Working with most meters

The Electricity Meter Interface 2, LED works with most electricity meters and is compatible with all meters that have a blinking LED indicating power consumption.

It comes with an optical probe which is easily attached by magnet. The length of the probe cable is approximately 800 mm.

By enabling your customers to get an easy overview of their electricity consumption, the Electricity Meter Interface 2, LED is ideal for IoT-based solutions in building management and multi-dwelling units.
