Next week, 5 EU research projects are put in the spotlight at a webinar dedicated to innovative ICT solutions for energy savings. The webinar is organized by BUILD UP and will take place on Monday 27 January 2020 at 12.00 CET. Among the projects included in the webinar is InBETWEEN, in which Develco Products is part of.
Behavioral change towards energy-efficient lifestyles
The scope of the webinar is to present EU research projects that aim to achieve behavior changes for energy savings through innovative ICT solutions. This way, the projects seek to move beyond capturing the attention of the users and to overcome adoption barriers previously met by ICT solutions developed to increase energy efficiency.
InBETWEEN: Identify, learn, and motivate
The inBETWEEN project aims to increase energy efficiency by helping users identify energy waste, learn how they can conserve energy, and motivate them to act without experiencing significant disruption to their everyday activities. Through a comprehensive monitoring platform, including a range of Develco Products devices, InBETWEEN seeks to spark behavior changes among the users.
In addition to the InBETWEEN project, the following projects will be presented at the webinar:
- MOBISTYLE: Motivating end-users behavioral change by combined ICT based tools and modular information services on energy use, indoor environment, health, and lifestyle.
- UtilitEE: Utility business model transformation through human-centric behavioral interventions and ICT tools for Energy Efficiency.
- eTEACHER: End-users tools to empower and raise awareness of behavioral change towards energy efficiency,
- FEEdBACk: Fostering energy efficiency and behavioral change through ICT.
