With the Evaluation Kit, you can test different Zigbee-based devices as it includes a Motion Sensor, an Entry Sensor, an Intelligent Smoke Alarm, and a Smart Plug Mini along with the Squid.link Gateway. This variation of devices allows you to test and evaluate the different functionalities and learn how to install them. You can also test their performance and analyze the results.

Find out how to configure your solution
The Evaluation Kit grants you access to the middleware application Squid Smart App, which is included in the Squid.link Gateway. It is a high-level API that simplifies application development greatly.
Squid Smart App provides a REST API with predefined commands for the connected devices included in the Evaluation Kit. Through Squid Smart App, you will only have to configure the settings and actions of the devices instead of programming these.

Get full access and start developing your solution
With the Evaluation Kit, you are able to assess the look, feel, and functionality of the devices. After having evaluated the devices, you can upgrade your Evaluation Kit to a Development Kit. As a Development Kit user, you gain access to the SDK, a demo server, and a range of tools and documentation to ease the development of your application for the Squid.link Gateway.
