Why we need the internet for the green transition
As the pressure on the existing internet infrastructure increases worldwide, we urgently need to make it stronger and greener. This is the aim of the research project INCOM.
In an interview with the Danish media Jyllands-Posten, Niels Hersoug, Head of the INCOM project, explains; "The internet is a very important tool for the green transition. It is not about spending less time on the internet, it is all about using the internet smarter. The speed, capacity, and mobility of the internet must be increased to achieve our goals for a green transition."
