An Insurtech solution for a large European insurance provider
Together with Develco Products, Blackdorf has developed an Insurtech solution for a large European insurance provider who wanted to offer online insurance services. The solution consists of a kit with a Squid.link gateway, a smoke alarm, and a water leak detector from Develco Products, a finder from a 3rd party company, and software from Blackdorf.
After a proof of concept with raspberry pie, Blackdorf was looking for hardware capable of scaling the solution in order to focus on developing the software for the insurance company. The Squid.link gateway enables easy scaling of a solution as it is able to handle complex solutions with a large number of devices.
With the white label devices from Develco Products, Blackdorf was able to develop the software in a short time.
