Introducing the Smart Button – your shortcut to automation control
As systems become more integrated, consumers demand user-friendliness and as little effort in commanding their automations as possible. In order for your solution to be attractive, it therefore needs to have a controlling device that makes the users’ lives easier. For this reason, Develco Products launches the Smart Button – a programmable wireless button that can be configured to match the requirements of your solution.
Configurable button with different commands
The Zigbee-based Smart Button is suitable for various solution types, from home care to security and home automation. Depending on the type of pressing, e.g. once, twice, or long-press users can activate or deactivate multiple devices or automations.
The Smart Button can be connected to various electrical appliances and turn them on or off at the same time. In this way, your customers save precious time when they have to leave quickly, while at the same time make sure that all-important devices are turned off and avoid accidents while they are away.
Waterproof button for indoor and outdoor use
The Smart Button is waterproof so that it can be used as a doorbell both in- and outdoors. There is a large flexibility in mounting options as it can be attached to the wall using strong double-sided tape. The remote control button is white, but you have the possibility to customize the markings on it.
A complete intelligent system
The Smart Button is a part of Develco Products’ white label device portfolio and fully compatible with the Squid.link gateways. If your users have an irregular sleeping schedule and do not want to set a time when their morning routine should start, they can simply connect it to the Smart Button and activate it with a click whenever they would like to.
The Zigbee button also fits perfectly within a remote access control system. By connecting it to the Smart Siren via a gateway, users will be notified when there is someone at the door wherever in the house they are. Or, placed next to the front door they use the remote control button to activate the alarm mode.
