Wireless keypad for secure access control

The Intelligent Keypad makes access to buildings more secure and convenient. Combined with a smart door lock, the Intelligent Keypad enables access to buildings through a tag or pin code, making it traceable who enters a building at what time.

As the Intelligent Keypad functions both as an access control and alarm system surface, it is the perfect device to include in a solution protecting office or manufacturing buildings. By using an RFID tag, employees can easily be given access only to specific areas making sure that only authorized personnel are allowed into sensitive areas.

With the Intelligent Keypad, users can give access codes to authorized people and enable keyless entry - for example through a security solution for a home or summer house. This way, maintenance personnel or guests can access a home effortlessly.

The Zigbee-based keypad includes a tag reader and allows users to enable and disable an alarm system using a pin code or an RFID tag. In addition, access data can be updated remotely via a gateway to facilitate access control.

The Intelligent Keypad is available in an EN50131 Alarm-certified version, making it a perfect fit for any security solution.

Technical specifications

Saves battery when not in use

The RFID only consumes energy when it is needed. The Intelligent Keypad includes a sensor that detects when a person is within a distance of 5-10 cm, which will enable the RFID and make the keypad light up. This saves energy and allows for a longer battery lifetime.

Numerous features and design options

The Intelligent Keypad includes a tamper switch that detects the opening of the unit, which makes it suitable for alarm systems. Also, the Keypad includes a programmable buzzer for indication of entry, exit, alarms, or any other indication needed in your solution. Red, green, and yellow LEDs are available for indications of alarms etc.

The Intelligent Keypad can be delivered in white and black and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It has 16 buttons that you can design to fit your solution and can be mounted on the wall using screws or double-sided tape.
